CHEF VS. SHARK

The Chef flew off to the mighty Bahamas on Sunday afternoon and arrived some 22 hours later. It is a long journey – specially for a family that is currently residing in two country’s. Nevertheless it´s a minor discomfort to say the least. The only real problem is the time difference (-5 hours) and the jet leg. Combined it´s a pain in the ass. So last night I received a text from the Chef. He couldn´t sleep so he took a walk in the garden. We live right by the beautiful canal but as he was looking at the water he saw a giant shark pass by. Sharks are common in the Bahamas and some – understandably – are more aggressive than the others. We have an amazing diving team here led by the world famous diver Christina Zenato. She and the Chef – along with the amazing photographer Paul Mockler did a photo shoot underwater a few years ago… I dug this up on YouTube and decided to share… just for the fun of it.
