As promised I´m posting my first cocktail here on TBC. There is a special occation I have to admit … the thing is that I´m about to take a mini-break for the weekend and I swear to you that it´s my first one since entering motherhood three years ago. So kudos to me! Oh and yesterday was my birthday so I have that to celebrate as well.
This first cocktail is called Bahama Mama and it sure takes me back to the Bahamas. It´s almost the national drink there – or at least the national tourist drink. Sometimes served in a fresh coconut, it is always the perfect drink. It´s delicious, beautiful and very alcoholic. You can of course do it the virgin way but not for me – at least tonight. So this one will be on the menu tonight…
Hope you enjoy,
xxx Thora

It would be a shame if no one commented on your very first cocktail post…and a lovely one at that. How can you go wrong with Rum, 2 kinds, the taste of coconut and fruit juices? And how can anyone not love it?! I do. So, salute..it’s summer and a Bahama Mama has all the flavors of a perfect Island drink. Thanks for posting. N
